Easter Morning Party :)

I had quite the treat this morning... I was able to pick up Johnathon from his dads and spend a few hours with him for the holiday even though it is his dads year... we decided to make an egg party out of it.... Here is Heather with Both of her brothers.... Oh we had a houseful at 10 am
They colored eggs... for ever..... They colored 54 eggs....

Then... we had the two boys (Johnathon and Shawn) hide the eggs in the backyard from the adorable college kids.... The older kids entertained us mothers with the Bunny Hop

She is so beautiful... and i was so happy to have her home for the morning

After all these years... i adore this trio more than words can tell you... and i love that they are all still friends... and feel like part of the family

The boys were busy hiding eggs in the back yard... they hid 36 of them... and hid some of them hard.... i was worried we wouldnt find them all...

Johnathon loved getting to be the easter bunny this year.... I dont know if i have shared this before or not... but when johnathon was two... he was so proud of his eggs... and he was furious when he woke up and that stupid bunny had taken them... and hid them... no amount of chocolate made up for that insult... he is glad to be doing it to someone else... especially college kids... How cool was that?

The boys finished and parked it on the trampoline to let the hunt begin... here is jordon hunting

Nelly found some too... what great sports to play this game for the boys... what other kids would do this...

When all the eggs were found... they ate a ton of them... horsed around as usual... and now are all gone... its so hard to know if your doing the right thing when the family dynamics are as strange as ours ... but like my blog is titled.... family means putting your arms around each other and being there... and thats what we did this morning.... I love them so much
