You say its your birthday... na na nanana.... well its my birthday too yeah!

Yesterday was Johnathons 9th Birthday! We had alot planned... First we went and picked up the cake and went out to lunch..... Then when Daddy and Heather got home from work we let him open his presents... (before they got home, and he was getting impatient i pinned him down and colored his toes) Then we turned Johnathon into a present... Teehee! This huge giftbag housed heathers gift to him! It was HUGE as you can see in the picture.

Then it was time to get ready for the Big Party... At 5:30 pm he had his birthday party at the Kangaroo Zoo here in North Salt Lake... SO MUCH FUN! Johnathon wasnt excepting birthday gifts from his friends this year, instead he asked them to take the money they would normally have spent on a present and bring it to put in this box that he made!
Everyone was fantastic about this! Infact he raised 125$ for the humane society (yes, i am so stinking proud i cant stand it, he is such a special little man - he was soooo excited about doing this)Everyone came out for the party! There are way too many pictures to post up here but above is Heather with Rachael and Brayden, Below is johnathon, logan, mikey and john (in the background)

Here is Mr. Jim Jr. the life of the party... He had fun too!!

This morning i drove Johnathon out to the Humane society to give the money to them... They were really impressed with his selflessness... He told them kindly that he didnt need toys for his birthday.. because he mom buys him everything he wants already (i almost died)Here he is with some of the kittens at the shelter, they gave him a very thourough tour, including letting him see a dog getting xrays, and cats recoverying from surgery. It was really nice of them to take the time and walk him through the whole place.

This sweet lady hugging him is the shelters PR person, she conducted the tour, she was so wonderful, and treated him so kindly.. She asked me to email her a bunch of pictures that i took because she wants to put Johnathons story in their newsletter and she made him a really neat certificate of appreciation... I told her i wanted a ton of copies of the news letter, and im sure you will hear all about it when it comes in.

Okay - i confess, i dont deny him a lot of things, he is my miracle baby, and neither of my kids really want for a lot... BUT i am soooooo blessed that both of them act so kindly, and dont take anything for granted. He is such an angel boy, he honestly was my hero today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNATHON!!!
