Welcome to the Cubanapolise 500 - Start Your Engines!!!

Sooooooooo We had a boy scout den meeting this thursday... You know- we have been a member of this den now for 3 years, we have met so many neat people and made so many good friends.... I know this blog is covered with many of those events.... BUT get ready for this one! This had to be one of Johnathons all time favorite activites, and it was soooo simple, i dont know why we hadnt thought of it before... Welcome to the cubanapolis! Each team (of two scouts) were given a cardboard box and assigned one adult pit crew member (We volunteered daddy for once! so i just got to sit in the shade and take pictures!) First they build the race car.

Then they get ready for the race... THIS race includes two laps per child, so a total of four laps, There is a pit stop between each lap, they have to clean the windows (This included spraying their goggles with water and wiping them down) and a tire change (This included taking the shoes off the driver and turning their socks inside out, and putting the shoes back on) and a ReFuel (this was a small bottle of water they had to chug)
