Two days in a row

Wow! I am sure the newness of this will wear off and i wont find myself posting nearly as much--- but i was online anyways... in a round about way, blackmailing michelle into starting a blog... See- I ummmmmm Have a TON of pictures of her kids because our families are very close... so i kinda made a blog for her and then sent her her own log in information ROTFLMAO! So Michelle has a blog- Look to the side for a link to it- She has joined the darkside. Something else really neat happened last night- Johnathon had scouts, and having the flu doesnt get me out of being mommy, it only gets me out of work- SO i took him over to the den meeting and the floor of the gym had a shiney new finish on it--- See here in bountiful we have one community church, No demonination and it allows all kinds of groups to use the facility, our Scout Troop being one of them (go PACK 3220!!!) It also is where the homeless in bountiful and surrounding areas sleep, and it is also the food pantry for the hungry.... Well last christmas eve - Tim, I and the kids had been extraordinarily blessed... even financially... So i gave the kids two crisp 100.00 dollar bills and gave the the choice - They could either pocket the money, or they could go donate it to the community church to put a new finish on the gym floor, where the scouts play and homeless sleep- the floor was in terrible shape, and it is a very old building- There was asbestos in the floor--- Ofcourse they took the money into the church- found the pastor- and handed him the money... When he asked if they were part of his congregation Johnathon informed him that no- they dont go to church because mom hates church LOL and came back out very proud- well it took alot of months for them to do this... but look here it is...

I know that more than my kids donation went into this- there were volunteers who resurfaced it and stuff, but i still feel like the kids really understand the meaning of doing good and taking care of those less fortunate.

Okay- Three random facts time.....

#1 Johnathon went to scout camp this summer and is leading the flag ceremony at November pack meeting

#2 Heather is a manager at the local theater and screamed like crazy today at school when she discovered a bug crawling up her arm!!!

#3 Kerry is afraid of fire - Time however is not - and lit off the biggest package of fireworks this year on the 4th of july and loved it!!!
