Home Sick with the Flu
Let me start this by pointing out two very ironic things.... #1 - the title of my blog--- We take the road less traveled.... I titled it this because in our family, that is what we tend to do, and we encourage each other to do, We dont just walk to the beat of our drum.... We usually run off the drummer! BUT! The ironic thing is- The very reason that i started a blog is that everyone else was doing it.... hardly the road less traveled. I suppose that we will have to find a different way to blog-- I have been lurking around the blogs of my cousins who i have recently seen for the first time in alot of years due to the recent funerals, EVERYONE was talking about these blogs....so then my little sister (:::waving::: Hi lindsey!) started one.... and linked everyone on hers... and from there i got hooked. It is fun to read about what everyone else is doing. I learned more about my own father from looking over his blog, than i learned living with him for the first part of my life.... funny thing about the internet, we just let it all hang out. Ironic thing #2, It took me getting the flu, to slow down enough to accomplish this blog- which i havent gotten to in this time since i started watching them.... Ironic that being sick... i manage to finally get something done..... I am trying to figure out the best way to do this blog... I want to tell you about my family... but i dont want to write an editorial on the history of the packs. It is probably best to let our personalitys just come through in the up coming posts.... I think (I stole this off of Tammys page... which btw. is one of my favorite places to stalk... they always have random stuff happening) That i will make it a tradition to give three random facts about us with each post... That way i dont have to play catch up on the last 14 years..... So seeing as i am done posting... here we go :
#1 Johnathon is a bluebelt in karate, and still pretends he is a puppy at least once a day.
#2 Heather got straight A's first term this year and once got her knee stuck in the banister! Pam cooking spray works just as good as Butter!!!
#3 Kerry and Tim dont see eye to eye on hardly anything, BUT we definately agree that our kids our crazy for being a puppy and shoving their knee through the banister!!!
I am sure my kids will kill me for this! But that is why i am the mommy!

YAY!!! I'm SO happy to see that you guys have a blog up and running!! I'll definitely take credit for the blog thing :-) (however I do feel the need to say...Melissa and Tammie started it...but I've been pushing it a little more, hehe). I LOVE keeping up with everyone!
Go KERRY! Post your pictures from Paris and Moscow, why don't you.
Hey Kerry, Welcome to the world of blogging. I just found you while on Coleen's site. Yeah, another cousin to keep up with. I agree we need to get Michelle posting too, since she lurks on everyone elses site. I tell her everytime I'm up there it's not hard to get started, but since you just live down the street from her I think you should badger her to get it done.

Good going Kerry! I don't get on the computer very often, but I try at least once a week to read the blogs of my family. It is great to know what is going on when we never see anyone anymore. Take care and be a better blogger than I am.
